Haryana School Closed: School Holiday in These Districts of Haryana, Schools Will Remain Closed For So Many Days, Know The Reason

Haryana Schools Closed: In view of pollution, Haryana Government ordered the District Collector to close the schools in their respective districts. Authorities have declared holiday in primary schools in Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Kaithal, Panipat, Bhiwani, Charkhi, Dadri and Jind districts. In these districts, all private and government schools up to primary will remain closed. There has been some improvement in pollution in Haryana in the last 1 day but the situation remains serious. Online education will now take place in the districts where schools have been closed. Due to pollution, schools may also be closed in some other districts of Haryana. Schools in the most affected districts like Sonipat, Fatehabad, Nuh etc. may also be closed soon.

PWD has suspended road projects and railway overbridges in Bhiwani due to pollution. A case has been registered against seven farmers for burning stubble in Hisar. In Bahadurgarh, a fine of Rs 5,000 each has been imposed on five stock operators for keeping house construction material in the open.

Haryana Pollution Control Board has directed the affected cities to strictly implement Group-4 guidelines. Chairman of the Board Shri P.K. Raghavendra Rao said that the biggest cause of pollution in Haryana is dust. He has instructed the Deputy Commissioners and Corporation Commissioners of polluted cities to take immediate steps to deal with it.

In case of implementation of Grade 4 in Haryana, the Deputy Commissioner himself can take the decision to close schools and make employees work from home. If government and private schools are closed in any district, teachers of those schools will take online classes. There may be different decisions for rural and urban areas in the same district.

In view of the pollution crisis in Haryana, the Deputy Commissioners of Gurugram, Faridabad and Jhajjar districts have issued orders to close all government and private schools up to primary schools in their respective districts till further orders.
